Strong relationships don’t replace rigor—they make it possible.
In math and science at Insight, students are expected to engage deeply with challenging material, ask questions, and persist through difficulty.
With support from teachers who know them well, students build both competence and confidence—learning not just how to get the right answer, but how to think through complex problems.
This is preparation for college-level work and for a world that demands real understanding.
See how Insight prepares students for college level work on our website or come tour to see firsthand. Links down below!

In humanities at Insight, students do more than learn content—they learn how to think.
Through discussion, writing, and close reading, they engage with complex ideas, consider multiple perspectives, and learn to support their thinking with evidence.
Classes are built around questions that don’t have easy answers—because that’s what prepares students for college-level work and for participating thoughtfully in the world.
This is rigorous, relevant learning—and students are expected to rise to it.

Our final Spring Expedition Recap 🌼
Just before Spring Break, our expeditioners came together for a three-day, three-adventure journey and made the most of every moment.
From climbing Hanging Rock, discovering a waterfall at Philpott Lake, to practicing climbing and belaying at Pilot Mountain, students pushed themselves while applying key mindsets like grit, empathy, agency, collaboration, and curiosity.
Even without campfires, we shared a meaningful evening of reflection, celebrating the experience and honoring our seniors— George and Lucien— for the example they’ve set.
A week full of challenge, growth, and connection — this is what expedition is all about.
