Mark Eq is named after our late father, Andrew Widmark. Andy was a successful businessman and philanthropist who dedicated much of his time, energy, and resources to giving back to the community. He loved Durham and was passionate about helping young kids in need reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.

Andy was recently honored by the Salvation Army of Durham, where he served on the board for many years. He deeply believed that every child has what it takes to succeed in life. The Boys & Girls Clubs of America support all youth and teens—of every race, ethnicity, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, ability, socio-economic status, and religion—in reaching their full potential.

We hope to honor Andy’s legacy by always leading with integrity and helping others succeed and reach their true potential.

The journey to success is paved with hard work, perseverance, and a steadfast commitment to self-improvement. By never giving up and striving to become the best version of ourselves, we not only honor the legacy of those who came before us but also inspire future generations to achieve greatness.
