“Man up.”
Two words. Lifelong damage.
Black men are taught from childhood that strength means silence. That feelings are weakness. That needing help makes you less of a man.
But that silence isn’t protecting anyone. It’s costing black men everything relationships, health, and far too many lives.
4x more likely to die by su***de. 6 million men affected by depression every year. And still we don’t talk about it.
That ends here.
If you’re carrying something heavy right now you don’t have to carry it alone. Call 988. Talk to someone. Tell a person you trust.
Asking for help is not weakness. It is the STRONGEST thing you can do.
Save this. Share it with a man who needs to hear it. đź–¤
