Send your kids to hike with Outside Creekside!

We will be hiking, playing in the Eno River, observing plants, animals, the sky and waters, talking with a ranger and working on the Junior Ranger program (it comes with tattoos!).

8:30am - 3:30pm

Eno River State Park off Coke Mill Road at the Cox Mountain Trail parking lot

Pack 2 snacks, a healthy lunch, swimsuits and water shoes. We will rest on towels and maybe eat lunch on big rocks.

Check out our local day hikes for each week. We will hike the same area every day for one week.

Then, we will switch locations the next week.

That’s a summer full of hikes in Chapel Hill, Durham and Hillsborough that are approachable for kids who can walk over roots, rocks and leave!

Outside Creekside - Summer Camp Outside Creekside offers a safe outdoor play-based summer camp for children, between Chapel Hill and Durham in the NC Triangle, with social activities, sports, games, art, a garden, and animals to pet and care for.

Outside Creekside is baaack! We are hiking for summer camp for 6 weeks over this summer 2023!

Various trails Monday- Friday 9am-3pm
Ages 4-12 years and 13-16 for CITs.

$300 per camper and sibling discount. $75 for CITs.
