Join Heartistry and the City of Durango Gametime program for an art show starting this Friday @ 12:30pm, located in the Durango Rec Center.

With support and collaboration from the City of Durango’s Game Time program, Heartistry provided 12 weeks of visual arts curriculum to area youth. Throughout the summer programming, students were encouraged to make two pieces of artwork, one for themselves and one to donate. Pieces were curated and prepared for an end-of-season, gallery-style opening where seniors acquire pieces at no cost.

For Youth Artists (Ages 12-18):
The Durango Arts Center center is hosting the “Young Artists - Huge Impact” market! This is a fantastic way for young makers and creatives to share their talents.

For Adult Artists:
The Durango Open Studio Tour is officially calling for artists! Registration is open right now from August 6th – 21st. The event will take place this October, featuring a self-guided experience through approximately 25 working artist studios.

Come visit our awesome art teacher Caroline Romano along with 4 other artists art on display at the Durango Visitor Center! On display until August 3rd.

This art is promoting the art show happening at Buckley Park this Saturday, August 1st from 9am-3pm. Support local artists and all their talent!

This fall, Caroline will be teaching the Creative Kids Club on Mondays and Paper Mache class on Tuesdays. Don’t forget to sign-up!

We love seeing our LITEs in action! Chloe led a fantastic project during one of our summer camps, showcasing exactly what this leadership program is all about.
