So proud of the opening concert for the DHS Orchestra this fall. We’ve grown from 15 students during 2020 to 57 students performing in two different ensembles in 2024.

The intermediate orchestra starts performing at 1:05, the advanced DHS Chamber Orchestra starts at 7:25, and the combined orchestra can be found at 17:35. Be sure to check out Assem Orellana as guest conductor for Rosinni’s Barber of Seville Overture at 12:30.

I'm so honored to be endorsed by the Durango Education Association and Durango Education Support Professionals Association - DESPA, who represent the amazing teachers and support professionals of Durango School District 9-R!

These are the incredible professionals who work tirelessly not only teach our children, but support them in a myriad of ways throughout the school day and beyond. Their voices matter. Yet their jobs seem to get harder every year. As some of the most important professionals in our community, they should be treated as such.
