Tonight was my first time teaching a class at Board and Brush. My best friend Cortney came and was able to create a beautiful Christmas tray while I taught her all the steps! Me, her, and the other two lady's had a very fun time just relaxing and working on our crafts. I can't wait to teach more classes and see each individuals art work come to life! I absolutely love this job and am so honored and blessed to work with such an amazing group of ladies!

I am very excited to say, I started another job today! I will be working as an assistant at a company called Board and Brush. I love that I will get to be hands on and helping people create amazing wood and paint based projects. I will still be working my other two jobs, so I will have my hands full! I am very excited about this opportunity and can't wait to join in the fun!

We were given an opportunity to create a pumpkin for our Trader Joe's Pumpkin Decorating Contest last month. I am happy to say, I received 2nd place! There were so many fantastic pumpkins, it was hard to choose a favorite. (Mine included "Moto" the monkey, the stores mascot sporting his pumpkin costume).
Rumor is, there will be a Christmas decorating contest. I'll keep you posted on what I design for that.

I had a great time at the Hillsboro Art Walk this evening. Sold a couple pieces, met some lovely folks, and was told about a lot of events I should attend. Overall, a great experience for being a newbie in the area!
