Yesterday my studio performed for Federation Festival in Waterloo. This event is through the National Federation of Music Club and is a favorite among students as it gives them the opportunity to earn trophies over time through a point system based on levels of excellence in performance.
17 students performed in 19 categories and we left with 16 Superior ratings (the highest) and 3 Excellent ratings(the 2nd highest)!
This is just an example of what the trophies look like, but I will have 6 trophies to hand out to students at recital this year! The ones they receive will look like the small trophy in the photo but with gold plates with their names and performance categories engraved on them 😊 the more trophies a student earns the bigger the trophies get!
3-4 years of hard work went into earning each one! I am so proud of each of my students and their dedication, they shared their music so beautifully!
