We had a "sweet" time during our RUI University class with The Great Chocolate Roadshow! 🍫 Residents enjoyed tasting a variety of delicious chocolates while testing their knowledge with fun chocolate trivia. From learning about the history of chocolate to sampling different flavors, it was an engaging and delightful experience for everyone. A perfect blend of learning, laughter, and a little indulgence!

The Great Chocolate Roadshow presenter Donna Haase joined residents for a sweet learning experience.

She spoke about how chocolate is made, from bean to bar.

We also learned why chocolate makes us happy and how it affects our brains.

Whoops! Yesterday was National Chocolate Day and I forgot to post because I was teaching a chocolate class in Alexandria, VA!

Everyday is chocolate day as it has given me so much joy as I travel through four states teaching about this wondrous substance to our wonderful seniors in assisted living facilities, Elks Clubs, churches, women's groups, museums, and so much more!

Good morning chocolate lovers! I recently had the wonderful opportunity to present a chocolate class at a bridal shower, and after the brief class, participants made their own unique and beautiful creations by painting (with edible paints) on white chocolate canvasses. We had a blast and their creations were beautiful, don't you think? PLUS, they get to eat their paintings!
