BFCC Aviation and Tourism BFCC’s Tourism program is a one year program open to all Kanawha County students in grades 10-12.

Special thanks to our friends at the Dirty Birds for treating us to an impromptu behind-the-scenes tour of the ballpark! ⚾️

When our pumpkins went SPLAT a little earlier than planned 🎃💥, they helped us turn the day into another learning opportunity! Students got a look at what goes on behind the scenes and the different careers that keep the ballpark running.

Sometimes the best learning experiences aren’t planned! 💙

A little hospitality and leadership in action! 🐔

Both BFCC Aviation and Tourism got a behind-the-scenes look at Chick-fil-A today! Aviation visited in the morning, followed by Tourism in the afternoon, as students learned about hospitality, customer service, leadership, and what it takes to run a successful operation.

A huge thank you to the Chick-fil-A team for welcoming both classes, sharing their knowledge, and giving our students the chance to see these skills in action!

An added bonus? Getting to see one of last year’s BFCC Tourism graduates still working and thriving at the very Chick-fil-A location he chose for his internship! We love seeing our students succeed beyond BFCC! ❤️
