Good morning from our Founder, John A. Brown.

Mr. Brown founded the Leanna Brown Gibson Johnson Scholarship Foundation in honor of his mother, Leanna, carrying forward her legacy of faith, service, and opening doors for others.

Here’s a little more about the man behind the mission:

💙 Favorite color?
“Blue.”

😊 Fun Fact about you?
“I believe there’s always room for laughter. My family knows I enjoy a good joke, especially when they least expect it.”

🌎 Your vision for the Foundation?
“To be a major anchor of opportunity within the communities we serve.”

🕊️ One piece of advice?
“Always search for peace. No matter what life brings, find a place where you can be at peace with yourself, with others, and with your decisions.”

📱What about social media?
“I'm old school, but young at heart so I may not understand how it all works, but I understand the power of connection. If it helps us reach more people and connect them with opportunity, I believe in it.”

Our team has been working hard behind the scenes to bring our mission to life in meaningful ways. Thanks to the support of our community, we've already been blessed to award scholarships to deserving students and invest in the next generation of leaders.
