The UMD PETE (Physical Education Teacher Education) Club had another successful Trick or Can drive! 🙌 They're making sure food insecurity isn't an issue on campus by collecting donations for Champ's Cupboard. 🫶

Congratulations to Patty Wendinger from the University of Minnesota-Duluth for being selected as our 2025 Lou Keller Award winner!

All of our awardees will officially be recognized during on November 2.

Meet Assistant Professor Kahyun Nam! He is "passionate about making physical education inclusive for students with disabilities, using evidence-based practices, quality assessments, and a strong understanding of laws like the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act and Section 504." https://cehsp.d.umn.edu/articles/kahyun-nam

Why did he choose to work at UMD?

"What really drew me here was the sense of community," he says. "I felt welcomed right away by the faculty in my department. During my interview, I had the chance to teach, and the way the students engaged with me made it clear this was the right place."
