Throwback Thursday đźŽ
We’re digging into the archives this week…
Guys and Dolls has a rich history here on the Hilltopper campus, with productions spanning generations, including this cast from 2013 and even earlier in 1974. It’s a show that has brought Hilltoppers together on stage for decades, each group adding their own take to a timeless classic.
Were you part of a past cast or crew? We’d love to hear your memories. Tag a fellow alum who shared the stage with you.
And for those nearby, the tradition continues next week as Guys and Dolls returns to the Marshall stage, April 16–19. Tickets: https://gofan.co/school/MN16562

Hilltopper baseball will be well represented with the Duluth Huskies this summer âšľ
Max Berrisford ’25 and Carter Boos ’24 will take the field at Wade Stadium alongside fellow Hilltopper Owen Marsolek ’25, who returns to the Huskies for another season. It’s a full Marshall reunion on the roster.
Max, now at University of St. Thomas, earned Class AA All-State honors and helped lead the Hilltoppers to a state semifinal run. Carter, a sophomore at University of Nebraska Omaha, is back with the Huskies after contributing on the mound last summer. Owen, also at St. Thomas, capped off an incredible senior season at Marshall as Minnesota’s Mr. Baseball and impressed in his first Huskies stint, including a standout postseason performance on the way to the title game.
We love seeing Hilltoppers continuing their baseball journeys at the next level and back here at home. Be sure to catch Max, Carter, and Owen in action this summer!
Huskies make three more local additions to 2026 roster
With the Northwoods League season less than two months away, the Huskies continue to bolster their roster. Duluth's latest additions include three Northland natives, two of whom were high school teammates.

A dramatic moment in Duluth history as a fire tears through Cathedral Elementary and Junior High, sending clouds of smoke into the winter sky. All 550 students and 20 teachers were safely evacuated, and while several classrooms were damaged by water, the school reopened the following week.
Thanks, Duluth News Tribune for the reminder of the resilience of our school communities and the generations of students who learned, adapted, and carried on.
