Yesterday was day three of the McKean County Fair and is always one of our favorites! Students compete in the swine and sheep show for fitting and showmanship. Later in the day, students signed up for the senior livestock showmanship challenge. Our students continue to represent our chapter, school, and community so well! We could not be more proud of them! Our students have been out making connections with members in our community to try and find buyers. Buyers are important to help support our students projects! In total, we will have 1 steer, 12 pigs, and 3 lambs participating in the fair for our chapter!
Interested in being a buyer to support McKean County FFA and 4H livestock projects? Preregistration can be found here:

There is 1 feeder class pig and 2 feeder class lambs that unfortunately did not make the minimum weight to participate in the livestock auction. These students have worked hard on their projects and are now eagerly looking for a buyer. If you are interested, please reach out to Mr. Witmer or Mrs. Gould.
Don’t forget to check out some of our displays that we have around the fairgrounds too! Including our Rustic Duck Display in the wildlife building!
