Loras College Carnival of Chemistry

GET READY FOR ANOTHER CARNIVAL OF CHEMISTRY! The second annual Carnival of Chemistry will be held Saturday, Nov. 7th, 2015, at the Science Hall at Loras College. The theme for this year is "Chemistry Colors Our World." Come and learn about the chemistry of light, rainbows, fireworks, and dyes. Also, don't miss out spectacular "It's Not Magic... It's Chemistry" show!

This year's theme of National Chemistry Week is "The Sweet Side of Chemistry: CANDY!" Come enjoy fun hand on activities that involve CANDY, such as making your own molecules with marshmallows, investigating the acidity of different sour candies, gas release from pop rocks, and making your own rock candy!
