We seek to better our communities with active civic involvement and using our time and talents to serve those in need.
The local community is our primary focus and we interact with similar national and international organizations to support many charitable programs throughout the area. You will find and make new friends who enjoy being involved in the many projects which benefit our Tri-Valley community. In addition, you may join one of our many social groups that meet your own individual interests. As a member of
the Dublin/San Ramon Women's Club you will belong to one of the oldest and largest international women's volunteer organizations, the GFWC. The club works locally with more than 6500 clubs in the US and globally. Members work to support the arts, preserve natural resources, promote education, encourage healthy lifestyles, stress civic involvement, and work toward world peace and understanding. The California Federation (CFWC) is on of the largest in the General Federation of Women's Clubs with thousands of CA members. The Mount Diablo District organized in 1956 and to which we belong, has 15 clubs at this time. Our club meets the third Thursday of the Month in the Dublin Shannon Community Center. A $5 donation is collected each meeting to pay for the Center's rental. Morning continental breakfast with coffee and catered lunch are available for a fee.
