We all recognize this as a milkweed plant pod releasing its seeds for the fall. I’m sure many of you had fun with these as a child or are having fun with these right now. Did you ever stop and look at the beauty of the seeds as they are released? So soft and delicate, so gentle in their release. There’s beauty in everything around us.

I haven’t posted for quite some time. I’ve had a lot of unexpected things come up and been on my own journey this year. This included thoughts of what I really wanted to do with this page.

Sometimes we get busy in life and forget to appreciate the simple things. To have gratitude for some thing as simple as a sunrise. I’d like to use this page to share some of the little joys in life. There’s always something to be thankful for. There are always miracles around us. Sometimes we forget to stop and take time to appreciate them. I hope this page serves as a reminder to do this in our everyday lives. To put a smile on your face. To share some of the beauty on our farm. I hope it inspires you to share the same with others.

Waking up a little early or taking 5 minutes to stop and enjoy the sunrise can be incredibly therapeutic. Today’s sunrise reminded me to stop and count my blessings. Share some of your favorite sunrises. 😊

Today is Earth Day!

Take some time to celebrate the beauty and wonder of The World Around Us!

Yesterday I took some time to walk the trails at Wildwood Park in Radford. It was incredible! A small oasis in the middle of the city filled with forest and wildlife, especially birds! I strongly suggest you check out this hidden gem.
