Today, we are reading "It's Okay to Make Mistakes" by Todd Parr. In our Character and Reading Foundations workbook, there are prompts and conversation starters to help you begin talking with your child about self esteem. Here's an example below!
The little boy in the book has lots of choices to make. Do you think he always makes the right choice? Let’s read the last few pages of the book and look at the pictures. What does the writer of the story say?

Happy Holidays from ParrotClete! It is so important to talk with our children about perspective taking surrounding gifts and presents or traditions families have that may differ from your own.
