Tomorrow is the WINTER DANCE!! Remember to send the permission slip and $5.00 entry fee with your child tomorrow. The dance will start at 3:15 and end at 5:00. We will provide chips, cookies and bottle water for the children. We will have candy for sale for $1.00. The photo booth will be $1.00. Are you ready for ❄️? There will be ❄️ at the dance!!

In observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday, Pittsylvania County Schools will be closed on Wednesday, November 23, Thursday, November 24, and Friday, November 25, 2022 for students and staff. This message is from Dr. Mark Jones, Division Superintendent of Pittsylvania County Schools. Wednesday, November 2, 2022, is the last day of the second marking period and students are scheduled to be released at 1:00 p.m. Also, because twelve schools in Pittsylvania County serve as voting precincts, Pittsylvania County Schools will be closed for students on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. That day has been assigned as a teacher professional day for staff.

As many of you have heard, there is a family in our community that is in need love and prayers. Levi, a 5 year old boy from our area, has recently been diagnosed with an aggressive and rare form of brain cancer. His aunt, Mrs. Ashley Barker, is our school librarian. In an effort to alleviate financial strain on this family, our FFA is sponsoring a Halloween fundraiser to raise a money to be donated to the Burke family. This fundraiser will take place at TMS on Halloween Monday; however, we will have a collection envelope in our office for anyone wishing to make additional contributions. If you’re interested in making a larger donation, please contact the office for additional information. Thank you ❤️

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and what better way to show our support than by WEARING PINK, PINK and more PINK.
On Thursday, October 13th wear all the pink you can and bring in $1 to wear a HAT. All money collected will be donated to the Cancer Society in honor of Mrs. Megan Walker's mom who is currently fighting breast cancer.
Our goal is to have the whole school dressed in PINK so get creative!

ATTENTION TROJANS! Here at TMS, we are always striving to better our community. For the next month, we are collecting Thanksgiving meal items to donate to God's Storehouse. If able, please send in holiday nonperishable items to Mrs. Hines in room 608 during homeroom time. Beta members: this is an opportunity to earn 1 service hour for every 2 items donated! Attached to this post is the donation shopping list for God's Storehouse. Let's all come together to bless our community with a delicious Thanksgiving meal!

The school has power and the Fall Fling is still happening!! We look forward to seeing you here today!!

Bounce house, inflatable slide, inflatable twister and 6 ft connect four are set up and ready for tomorrow!! This fall fling event is open to EVERYONE!!
