Late one night somebody sat on your website with your product in the cart. They picked it, they wanted it, and then the phone rang or the doubt showed up, and they closed the tab. That happens on every store, every week. The question is what your store does about it after they're gone.
So, when somebody leaves a full cart on your site, what goes out after that without a person doing anything?
There are four ways owners answer that. See which one is yours.
Not yet, nothing sends on its own, or you'd have to look up what's turned on Good, one message goes out on its own after a cart is left Better, a few go out over a few days, and a text is in there Best, it runs on a schedule, somebody's name is on it, and you know your own walk-away rate month to month
No wrong answer on any of these. Most owners I talk to are in the first box, and it didn't get there on purpose. Nobody ever handed you these questions.
So I'll ask it the way I'd ask a friend. Which box are you in on this one? Say it in the comments if you're open to it, and I'll tell you what I'd look at next.
There are twenty questions like this one, four for each of the five places where money sits in a product business. Comment FIND and I'll send you the sheet.
