Its an exciting time for us right now! We have 2 exciting parties booked this month, plus some new arrivals! We have waited 4.5 years for these babies, and we didn't expect such variety in color of them. Hopeful we hit hypo T-. Some of these babies will be available around November!

We have decided to try something new this year!
🦎Kritter Candy Kids Summer Camp!🐍
This will be a one day, 3 hour event.
We will have a variety of animals to interact with, educational curriculum, snacks, animal centered games, & gift bags. If this is something you are interested in, please comment below how many kiddos you have, and their ages. This will help us decide if we need more than one day to accommodate a wide range of curriculum for different ages. Stay tuned for more details coming soon.

Future ambassador alert! We need name ideas ✍️💳!

♦️This is a KZN Red house snake. They come from KwaZulu-Natal, a coastal province in S. Africa (although this one is captive bred). Unlike other localities of cape house snakes, they have a red tone that gets redder with age and less pattern than other localities. This is a cool example of a species exhibiting adaptation because they have changed over time to blend in with the red soil of their region. This little guy will be ready for events by 2027. Don't worry, he will grow into his eyes. 2nd photo is of his future girlfran Kerri, who has already done well at events!

Yesterday I had the privilege of sharing our ambassador animals at a 4-year-olds birthday party! The birthday boy was a pro. He was eager to hold snakes, lizards, even roaches, and more!

Last night we had the honor of performing an event for a wedding floral planning party! This was also Wasabi (reticulated python) and Beatrice's (bearded dragon) first event! Thank you to everyone who welcomed us! It is always wonderful to see people enjoy the critters we love.

We decided to add a couple personal animals to our animal ambassador group. They will be doing events before we know it!
On the left we have Mira, the Blood Python. These are a commonly misunderstood species in the reptile world. They're slow moving, somewhat lazy, and a bit shy. They are an impressive size- reaching lengths of 6 feet and weighing up to 30 lbs! When handled gently, blood pythons can be raised up to be incredibly trusting and docile. Mira here is still pretty new, so we won't have her at a show for about 6-12 months.
On the right we have Wasabi, our reticulated python. Mainland retics are the longest snake in the world. Wasabi is the economy package retic though. Since he is 62.5% Dwarf and super dwarf, he won't get as big as most reticulated pythons. Wasabi is already a well socialized sweet boy. He enjoys climbing, bird watching, hugging legs, and pooping in his water dish. He is currently practicing crowds with our family members, but he's ready for short visits at events! We hope to make him our main ambassador once he is an adult.
