Make sure you are prepared for the winter storm coming through tonight. Remember to charge all your electronics, ensure all heating sources are properly vented. (And being used safely and following manufacturers recommendations). Have fuel for generators and make sure it's working. Keep an emergency radio, lighting source and cooking source on hand. Clear out snow around your furnace and dryer vents, if it is blocked it could push carbon monoxide into your home. Stay warm and stay safe. If you must travel, do so safely!

Later this week Ohio is expected to be hit by another winter storm. Predictions are showing we will get a wintery mix, including ice. Be prepared for power outages with ice accumulating on power lines. Remember to keep you vehicle full of fuel, keep items such as blankets, food, water, first aid kit and a backup way to charge your phone. Stay warm and stay safe!

Cold weather is upon us. Be sure to be prepared in your vehicle and at home. When traveling make sure to have extra warming layers, some food and water, a way to charge your phone.
