Greater Dover Boys & Girls Club

Attention teenagers age 13-18, we invite you and your friends to join us for an evening of entertainment, music, and positive atmosphere. Open gym commences at 9pm.

The Greater Dover Club recently had the privilege of participating in a notable kickball tournament with the Dover Police Department, featuring three concurrent games. Gratitude is extended to Mrs. Bowie and the Dover Police Department-Delaware

The Greater Dover Club successfully hosted its 2026 Jr. YOY event yesterday. Parents expressed considerable enthusiasm regarding the Hollywood Theme. Members and mentors alike performed exceptionally well. We extend our gratitude to the four judges who provided substantial assistance. Congratulations are in order for the winner, Promise.

Greater Dover Family Fun Literacy Night. We extend our gratitude to the Dover Public Library, Nemours Children’s Health, and Delstate Smart Kids Early Learning Library for participating and offering valuable literacy resources to our families. Shout out to everyone making a difference!

At the Greater Dover Club, our members are learning that leadership is about more than speaking up—it’s about understanding real-world issues and taking action. 💙

Yesterday, six finalists for the Junior YOY award met with the Greater Dover Club YOY for 2026, where they discussed the significance of their roles, the leadership skills they have demonstrated, and their personal future goals, as well as the best practices for being positive role models, and we thank IPT and the Greater Dover Teen Program for their support.

Last Friday Subaru Loves to Help event was a huge success—100+ coats were given away to help keep our members warm as we head into 2026. A heartfelt thank-you to the amazing staff from Subaru who came out to support the community and lend a helping hand. We also truly appreciate the kind words shared about the Greater Dover Program.

This Martin Luther King Jr. Day, 50+ teens came together with courage and purpose. They explored the real challenges impacting their communities and stepped into conversations about the change they want to lead. Change starts with listening—these young voices are leading the way.
