Introducing the Parent Power Summit
📅 August 21–22, 2026

📍 Douglas County, Georgia

This is a two-day event taking place August 21-22 at Douglas County School System's Magnolia Room. Refreshments will be served both days.

This event brings parents, educators, students, and community partners together to strengthen the bridge between home and school. Sessions include:

- IEP and 504 Plans: The Transition from High School to Beyond
- Identifying and Aligning Personal Values to Lead Our Families
- Project Green TAPE
- A Scholarship Roundtable featuring the AAFT Foundation, ABWA and more
- A Parent Partnership Charter Workshop, where parents, educators, administrators, and students co-create commitments to strengthen trust and communication between home and school.

What an incredible evening at our Sneak-a-Peek! Thank you to all of our students, families, and staff who came out to meet teachers, explore the school, and kick off an exciting new year together.
