We had a great time with all the 8th graders at practice on Thursday and the game on Friday! Looking forward to having all these future cougars march and make music with us next year!

We are super excited to announce our inaugural Bingo Night! This is open to the community and we look forward to seeing you there!

Our 2nd Annual Cougar Cruise In & Craft Show is this Saturday! We are asking each student to volunteer for 1 hour during the event. Students signed up for a shift on Wednesday. Parents are also welcome to pitch in for a bit especially during set up between 7am and 9am. Please wear a Band Shirt! Tom's Traveling Coffee will be on site from 8:30 until noon and the band gets 10% of their sales. Hope to see you there.

Our Heritage Candle Fundraiser is underway! Last week, students were given a green envelope with candle brochures inside. Additional brochures are available for pick up on the band room. Candles are $20 for a 12 oz Canning Jar Candle that burns for 75 hours. The candles are handcrafted in Georgia. The fundraiser is going on now through November 8th. Completed order forms can be returned to school or dropped off at the Car Show. Payment is cash or check made out to "AHS Band Boosters". Samples will be on view at the November 4th meetings. Candles make great gifts! if you would like to support the band, reach our to your local member of the Alexander High School Cougar Band.
