Hey guys! Hope everyone is doing well! 🤍

Good news! Yearbooks just came in! You can come pick yours up at the WCHS library on Thursday, August 5th from 3 to 7! You will have to sign for your yearbook. If you will be sending someone else (preferably a family member) to pick yours up, please message Mrs. Paula Harris and let her know who will be picking it up for you. Thanks!

Today (Monday, May 24) will be graduation practice, cookout, and awards.

5:00: Seniors arrive at Malcolm Blake Stadium. Graduation practice will begin.
6:30: Senior cookout will begin. We will eat on the track in front of the press box.
6:50: Parents and guests arrive to watch the awards ceremony. Seating will be in the home-side bleachers.
7:00: The awards ceremony will begin.

Attire will be business casual. Seniors wear your Class of 2021 shirts! If you haven’t picked yours up, I still have it. I will bring these ones to the stadium with me. I do not have any extras.

Keep in mind, these shirts are long sleeve, and it will be hot. If you plan on wearing shorts, they need to be dress code length. Do not feel like you have to dress up, but keep in mind that this is what you will be wearing for awards so make sure you look presentable and appropriate. Pictures will be made for the yearbook.

This will be a fun night, and it will be the last time for the Class of 2021 to gather together as a group before graduation on Tuesday. Can’t wait to see everyone there!

This post includes some final senior announcements. I have copied most of this information from a post from Coach Cole earlier today. Friday, May 21:
Seniors’ Last Day- Seniors will turn in Chromebooks and pay any unpaid fees.

Monday, May 24:
Graduation Practice and Awards-

Graduation Day-
5:30: Senior Beta Tea will begin. Beta Seniors have received invitations. This will be in the library.
6:30: All graduating seniors need to meet in the hallway between the lunchroom and the office.
7:30: Graduation will begin.

Tomorrow will be senior dress-up day. We will start by taking a bus to the elementary school at 8 A.M. Seniors wear your caps and gowns. This should last one hour or less. Once we get back to the high school, we will resume a normal school day, but we will get our rings turned!

Seniors, please do not forget your cap, gown, and your ring. Make sure your outfit is school appropriate. You do not have to wear your graduation attire underneath your gown for the elementary walkthrough.

Planning on doing senior dress-up day on Monday, May 17. This day we also plan on going to visit the elementary school in our caps and gowns at about 8 A.M. If this changes, a post will be made here.
