Why teach toddlers about Black History? Because it matters. They matter.

This is a repost from APRIL 22 ADDRESSING " THE NON ADMINISTERING OF MEDICATION". Any person that refuses to believe it check the facebook post. ---- Parents are asking the question concerning why childcare centers are no longer giving medication? Just recently one of the most devastating issues took place in a Alabama childcare center that has tied the hands of providers and pushed the responsibility of administering medication back to the parents. Baby Douglas is the tragic story of a child given medication in a Alabama daycare that led to his death. Ultimately it has become a law that requires centers to avoid giving medication if at all possible. If it must happen at the center there are forms to complete and medication must be in its original packaging with a notice explaining the way the meds are to be given. Please google "Baby Douglas Law Alabama" for more information.

If your child is sick enough to be medicated, they are sick enough to stay home. (S.Parks, 2025).
