Parents, as you are working on handwriting with your kiddos see the below video. This shows proper pencil grip and is a good resource to show students. They have heard to have their “crocodile snap” and this would be great to help support their handwriting at home. 😊

Hello parents! Today I am sending home an “About Me” paper for you to fill out with your child and return. This just helps me know a little more about them.

Also, I am sending home some name tracing practice.

Please make sure you are checking folders DAILY. Also please return folders so we can continue using these for daily communication of your child’s progress, etc.

Today we read “When you give a mouse a cookie” and the children made their own cookie. We practiced our glueing skills and earned glue sticks in our tool boxes today! 🍪❤️

Today we talked about good choices and what is important in our classroom. These are the things your kiddos decided were important enough to promise to do throughout our year. You have such a sweet group of boys and girls. I can’t wait to watch them grow over this year. 😊

Today was a special first day of school. Some of us started with Jitters but we ended with all smiles. ☺️ We enjoyed some “jitter juice” and read the book, “First Day of school Jitters”. Such a great day! 🍎📚
