We received a warm welcome from Mr. Heffron and his students at the J. Kilmer School today. The proceeds of our fall Python class allowed us to donate 5 Chromebooks and 5 headphones. The students are excited to use them to learn Scratch, use them for science projects, Khan Academy, iCivics, DBQ, etc.

Students earned their certificates for successfully completing the course "Introduction to Java". Their eagerness and enthusiasm to jump on new programming concepts made this class so much fun! I hope they will continue to dig deeper into this language.

Wellesley Digital Bridge is thrilled to announce that all proceeds of this winter’s Java class ($736.76) will be donated to the Neighborhood House Charter School!

This wonderful charter school in Dorchester gives kids in that community and beyond a chance at a quality education, such as we enjoy here in Wellesley. The school has achieved some impressive results, please visit: http://www.thenhcs.org/approach-and-outcomes/student-success/

Our goal is to raise at least $1500 for that school. If you are a local business or private person who would like to help us to achieve our goal, please visit our website https://wellesleydigitalbridges.wordpress.com/ and click on the donate button. Thank you for your support!

With some of the most impressive scores in our school’s history, NHCS has been designated a Level 1 School for the 5th year in a row. As we prepare to launch our new high school next fall, our program continues to grow and strengthen.
