Attention 10th and 11th grade students....

The Counseling Office is currently looking for Nominations to represent Corner at the Youth Leadership Birmingham. This is a wonderful opportunity for students! If you are interested please complete the following Google Form that was emailed out to ALL 10th/11th grade students and parents NO LATER than Tuesday, August 25th.

Huge thanks to the Class of 2027 for a fantastic senior meeting! We hit an incredible 90% attendance rate, and right now, only 2 seniors still need to order their cap and gown.

This Friday, Corner High School will host Dora High School for our County Line Clash game. While we look forward to coming together for this special night of football, our hearts and focus this week are with our neighbors and friends in the Dora community who are experiencing heartbreaking losses.

To our sister school, Dora High School: Corner High School is praying for you, your students, your families, and your entire community. We stand with you, and we want you to know that you are not alone.

CHS Open House has started!

We are thrilled to welcome Mrs. Burks to our counseling department as our new CARES Specialist!

Mrs. Burks will be serving Bagley, Corner Middle, and Corner High School. She offers a wide range of support, including intervention services, individual student check-ins, mental health resources, and referrals for outside care.

In light of the recent tragedy in our neighboring community, we wanted to make sure you have this resource available. If you feel your child could benefit from speaking with Mrs. Burks—whether to process this recent event or simply for support at any point throughout the school year—please reach out to me via email, and I will gladly coordinate a session.

Request from the counseling office:

We have been so blessed at Corner for the past few years when we first posted our Amazon wish list that we have not needed to ask for anything but our supplies are low.

We are asking for the following items that could possibly be donated not on our Amazon list:

2- Tall Floor Lamp this will be used in our cool down room when students just need a moment to relax.

A 2 seater couch to provide relaxation when our students are meeting with our Cares Team or our LPC counselor.

2-3 baskets for candy, stress balls, pens and journals

Please share this with businesses, local churches, etc… All items will be used by CHS students!😀
