Our Donna North Boys Cross Country team traveled to McAllen to compete in the Friday Night Lights meet. As expected, some of the best teams from across the Valley, as well as teams from Laredo, Corpus Christi, and the San Antonio area, were there competing.
Our boys ran with a lot of heart, determination, and desire. We are very proud of their efforts and accomplishments:

Varsity Team – 15th Overall
JV Team – 5th Overall
Freshman Team – 6th Overall

Congratulations to all of our runners for giving it their all and representing Donna North with pride!

Donna North Boys Cross Country Competes at the 3rd Annual James Nikki Rowe Invitational on Friday, August 7th.

The team had a strong showing across all divisions, with the Varsity team placing 6th overall, the JV team placing 6th overall, and the Freshman team earning an impressive 2nd overall finish.

Donna North Cross Country opened the 2026 season Friday night at the 52nd Annual Harlingen Invitational under the lights.

The Varsity team finished SECOND overall:
•Bryan Alvarado - 6th Place

The JV squad placed THIRD overall, with three runners finishing in the Top 10:
•Luis Trejo – 1st Place
•Oscar Bravo – 2nd Place
•Brandon Alvarado – 7th Place

The Freshman team captured the team championship, finishing FIRST overall. Top 10 finishers included:
•Sebastian Oviedo – 1st Place
•Emmanuel Gutierrez – 5th Place
•Ezequiel Gutierrez – 6th Place
•Santiago Bocanegra – 7th Place
•Gabriel Genovez – 8th Place
