Today we are celebrating the incredible custodians who work hard each day to keep Webster County Middle School clean, safe, and welcoming for our students and staff! So much of what they do happens behind the scenes, but their hard work certainly doesn’t go unnoticed. From early mornings to busy school days and everything in between, they help keep WCMS sparkling! Thank you, Mr. Seth, Mrs. Kim, and Ms. Elizabeth!

Way to show up, Trojans! Mrs. Major’s House earned the top spot for attendance during the month of September, and we are so proud of their commitment to being at school and ready to learn! Every school day matters. Consistent attendance helps students stay connected, keep up with learning, build strong relationships, and make the most of every opportunity at WCMS.
👏 Congratulations, Mrs. Major’s House! Keep showing up and making every day count!

This morning at 9:25 sharp, WCMS hit the brakes on the hustle and bustle and did something Dolly good—we READ! Teachers pulled out one of their favorite childhood books and settled in for a good old-fashioned read-aloud with their students. And y’all… watching our 7th and 8th graders listen with such intention was sweeter than a jar of homemade jam. There’s just something magical about being read to—even when you’re big enough to have a driver’s license around the corner!
And since no Dolly Day would be complete without a little treat yo’ self…
☕ THE DOLLY CARTON ROLLED IN! ☕
Loaded up with Cups of Ambition and enough sweet & salty snacks to keep our staff 9 to 5-ing all day long! 🍿🍪☕
📚 Books were read.
👂 Ears were listening.
☕ Ambition was poured.
🍬 Snacks were enjoyed.
💖 And a whole lot of Dolly spirit filled the halls!
Dolly Day at WCMS: because a little reading, a little caffeine, and a whole lot of fun can make any day shine like rhinestones! ✨💎

Today, we were excited to welcome high school FFA students to WCMS! They visited our House classes to help promote Ag Education Week and share more about the importance of agriculture and agricultural education. We appreciate these students taking the time to connect with our Trojans and highlight the many ways agriculture impacts our schools, communities, and everyday lives. What a great opportunity for our students to learn from some outstanding high school role models!
Thank you, FFA, for spending part of your day with us! 💙💛

Webster County Middle School is proud to recognize our 8th grade softball players and celebrate the hard work, dedication, and Trojan pride they bring to the field each time they put on a WCMS uniform!
🥎 #11 Gabriella Harper
🥎 #12 Lexi Shelton
🥎 #13 Natalie Eversole
🥎 #24 Alanah Wyatt
🥎 #25 Avery Nall
These young ladies have spent their middle school years growing not only as softball players, but also as teammates and leaders. Through practices, games, wins, tough moments, and everything in between, they have continued to work hard, encourage one another, and represent WCMS with pride. We are thankful for the time, effort, and heart they have poured into our softball program. Their leadership and example help set the tone for the younger players who will continue to carry on the tradition of Trojan softball. And the best part — there is still more softball to play! 🥎 We look forward to cheering these girls and the rest of the team on as they continue their season and make even more memories together. We are so proud of you, ladies! Keep working hard, keep having fun, and keep representing the maroon and gold with pride! 🥎
