It’s hard to believe these 5th graders are ready to transition to Northern Middle School soon! Today we welcomed some middle school experts (and DES alumni) as they talked about what to expect in middle school next year. Thank you to Mr. McArdle and his team for sharing the middle school basics to our 5th graders. We can’t wait to come see NMS in person soon!

The theme of teacher appreciation week is “self-care” and we have transformed a classroom into a “spa” for the week.

Thanks to your help and our PTO we are able to treat our teachers to some relaxation.

Want a simple way to say thank you? Send your teachers an email or write a letter to let them know how special they are!

Another no cost way to help out (if you have your clearances) is to help cover recess duty on Tuesday or Wednesday. Check your email for more information!
