🐊💙 Virtual Learning + Hands-On Experience = The Best of Both Worlds!

Our DHS Virtual Program students were proudly represented at today's ribbon cutting for the new CTE building! 🎉✂️

Three of the four Barbering students pictured are seniors in our virtual program, and we also had one of our virtual EMS students there to celebrate!

These students are taking advantage of a unique opportunity—attending campus for hands-on career and technical education courses while completing their remaining classes online.

🎓 Real-world skills for their futures.

Being a virtual student doesn't mean missing out on everything DHS has to offer! We love seeing our students take advantage of opportunities to learn, grow, and stay connected to their school community.

From volunteering at the Homecoming Carnival to enjoying Friday night football and dancing at Homecoming, our virtual students continue to stay connected, get involved, and make memories as part of the DHS community.

They may learn differently, but they are always Gators!

📚💻 We had a great time meeting families at the Dickinson ISD Back-to-School Bash today!

It was exciting to share information about the Dickinson ISD Virtual Program and talk with students and parents about a flexible learning option that still keeps students connected to Dickinson ISD.

Whether you're looking for a more personalized schedule, need flexibility for extracurricular activities or work, or simply thrive in an independent learning environment, our virtual program may be the right fit.

Our program offers students in grades 10–12 the flexibility to learn online while remaining connected to Dickinson High School. Whether you're balancing work, extracurricular activities, travel, medical needs, or simply thrive in a virtual environment, our program may be the right fit for you.

Dickinson ISD and M. I. Lewis Social Service Center are teaming up for the 2026 Back to School Community Fair on Saturday, August 1 from 9 AM–12 PM!

This event is open to Dickinson ISD students from Pre-K through High School and will include:
✏️ School supply assistance (sign-ups coming soon)
🚌 The Dickinson ISD Education Foundation Book Bus
🤝 Community vendors & resources
🏫 Helpful back-to-school information for DISD families
