Thru satisfactory attendance at school and work, employability skills training, satisfactory employer evaluations and having a C or greater on their high school transcripts, students enrolled in the WLHS WBL program earned their GeorgiaBest @ Work certifications. These certifications allow employers to know these students have been trained in the areas of attendance and punctuality, work ethic, initiative, critical thinking and communication plus many more while in high school. Maintaining satisfactory work attendance and school attendance, being flexible and various other employability skills are the key to growing our future leaders! *some students not pictured yet*

WLHS students interested in lineman training and energy careers traveled to the Georgia Power facility in Savannah, Georgia . Hands on experiences, job opportunities and work ethic skills were shared and highlighted for the students to understand what it takes to be in this field. Hurricane Helene made us keenly aware of the need and importance of this type of trade skill.
