We loved welcoming Nurse Crystal to Apiary Leadership Academy! Students explored the human body in a hands-on, memorable way, by learning about our skeletons, joints, hearts, and lungs, and how they all work together to keep us healthy.

Nurse Crystal also shared real surgical tools and sutures, giving students a closer look at medical equipment and sparking thoughtful questions. One of the highlights? Using stethoscopes to listen to their own heartbeats and checking blood pressure—learning science by doing.

Apiary Leadership Academy

At Apiary, hands-on learning isn’t just something we talk about, it’s something our students do every day… even in the kitchen!

Through the practical life skill of cooking, our students are measuring and mixing, exploring science, practicing independence, and building community.

When students cook, learning becomes meaningful, memorable, and delicious! We’re proud to give our Apiary students opportunities to grow their minds and life skills- one recipe at a time 💛🐝

It was a beautiful week last week at Apiary!

We are grateful for the wonderful student conferences we had. Thank you to our families for partnering with us, celebrating growth, and supporting each child’s learning journey 💛

We ended our week in the sunshine, launching water rockets and playing with our new gaga ball pit!
