To be more loving, to publish their book, to be more mindful and present. So many good things coming from these ladies that we can’t wait to watch. Finish Each Day and Be Done With It — Sisterhood Soup 11/16/2019

"This is just a snapshot of a myriad of emotions and thoughts that constantly maneuver through my mind; while simultaneously just trying to focus on my breath, admire the blue skies and talk to the sun."

Such an honor to have Coral Thede on the blog this week. 💕

Finish Each Day and Be Done With It — Sisterhood Soup “Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day. You shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense. - Ralph Waldo Emerson

We've been a little quiet here, and it's no reflection of how we feel about you. Actually, it's because of the way we feel about you. The biggest part of our mission is to allow women to show up exactly as they are without judgement. This means showing up with the scary, the heavy, the hard, the slow down, the rest, the happy and everything in between. We've only ever wanted to live our lives and this business with that idea in mind. So when we started hearing calls to surrender, slow down, rest and spend more time healing, growing, and soaking up our babies, we listened. Totally being and living our mission means allowing women, ourselves included, to pause, reconnect, tap out, say "this is hard". It's not a reality to be rosey and go-go-go all the time. That's not the image we ever want to portray. We're still here. We're still going to be here. For the moment we'll honor ourselves and what feels right. Someday the flame will return and we'll honor that too. In the meantime, watch for us as we use our intuition as our guide and connect with you intermittently via our monthly newsletter and social media shout outs. We hope you'll honor yourself too.

Last week we hosted our second free meditation and the energy and conversation was incredible. Women offered themselves and others space for recognition and calm.

We even practiced mindfully eating chocolate. 🤤 🍫

We talked about mindfulness, the act of paying attention to the present moment, on purpose, nonjudgementally. We’ll talk more about mindfulness in an upcoming live, but did you know it can:

• Help relieve stress
• Lower blood pressure
• Reduce chronic pain
• Improve sleep
• Improve relationships

The benefits are incredible and it’s so worth a try. How will you be mindful this week?

How to Advocate For Yourself — Sisterhood Soup 08/31/2019

Claire Richmond is a graphic designer, writer, and rare disease advocate. She lives with a life-threatening metabolic disorder, which shapes her perspective on storytelling, the creative process, business and mental health. She is incredibly powerful and we're so honored to share her story in our most recent Sisterhood Spotlight.

How to Advocate For Yourself — Sisterhood Soup I believe that none of us are given a challenge in life that we can’t handle. This is a post about NOT giving up. This is a post about self-advocacy. Because standing up for what you need, for who you are and for more effectively using your voice in this noisy, busy world isn’t easy. This is how...
