Tiger Lily in bloom catching the perfect ray of sunshine

I was gifted a pint worth of Albizzia flowers by and of course I got them right into honey.

Albizzia is called"the tree of happiness" and for good reason. It's a gentle blood mover that elevates the mood in winter

I like to add a reason to a warm cup of tea.

Took a batik class with local artist An of on Vashon last weekend

I struggled a bit with the tools and wax and ended up with"more is more", but quite happy with the results

We drew with wax, dyed our projects, drew again and over dyed with a second color on some of them, then boiled the wax out to see what we created.
