Thank you to our preschool supporters from Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd for donating handmade quilts for each one of littlest woodchucks! This yearly tradition has been such a special gift for our students as they receive their very own rest-time blanket.

Let the summer fun at Y-Camp begin! Many of our rising 5th graders are heading up to Boone for a week of fun, friendship, outdoors, and activities. This annual tradition has been made possible from funding sponsored by Live Wild Iowa and Y-Camp, along with coordinating support from our CSC, Jen Walker. We are so grateful for their partnerships!

Our students have many talents and skillsets, some put them on display tonight performing songs, dancing, and playing instruments at our second annual Greenwood’s Got Talent show. Thank you to our performers for sharing their talents! Thank you to our parent volunteers for helping to make this all possible with decorations, 3-D printed awards, trophies, and so much work behind the scenes.

We also want to thank our PTA for sponsoring a great event! Pizza, popsicles, inflatables, friendship, balloon animals, and a spectacular talent show…fun was had by all!

Thank you for an amazing school year!

Third grade student, Tessa, took her learning in the classroom and put it to action with a lemonade stand benefitting the Ryan’s Well Foundation. In addition to selling lemonade and cookies, she also took time to inform patrons of the foundation and the good it is doing to address the water crisis in third world countries.

You can view her story featured on KCCI here:

Yesterday we had our annual Senior Reunion. We welcomed back former Woodchucks who will be crossing the stage at graduation this weekend.

It was such a bucket filler to see them, hear their plans for the future, and reflect on their time here during their elementary years.

Congratulations to the entire graduating class of 2026!
