We would love for our 2026-2027 school year to start off with a huge group of volunteers!
Our first meeting will be in August and we meet once a month throughout the school year - plus we provide concessions for all NHS (home) athletic events and host a variety of events to support NHS and the community throughout the year!

We are open for donations. Polar Bear Wrestling covers both the High School at Des Moines North and the Middle School feeder progrom at Harding/Goodrell Middle School.

Wrestling can be an easy sport to get into, but it does have it's barriers. There might not be as much equipment as other sports, but it is specialized equipment that parents may not want to invest in until they feel like their kids are going to stick with it.

🏃 Big things happening today at Grubb Stadium with Des Moines North High School Polar Bears! 🏃

We're proud to team up with the Track Guy USA to provide Des Moines North High School a $7,000 check for their boys and girls track & field and cross country programs — the first gift through IMT Future Miles, our new commitment to youth running right here in the Des Moines Metro. 🧡

This isn't just about one day in October. It's about equipment, travel, coaching, and access — investing in the runners who'll be toeing the line for years to come.

Never mind the storms outside!

Come over to Grubb Stadium (NHS) at 3:45pm (8/13/2026) to help celebrate our Booster Club receiving the first ever “Future Miles” Grant presented by the Track Guy Foundation and IMT Des Moines Marathon!

This money will go to support our Boys/Girls Cross Country Teams and Boys/Girls Track Teams!

After the check presentation, the NHS Cross Country Team will be hosting a FREE 5k Fun Run!

Media and Community Members are invited and encouraged to come support NHS!
