What an incredible week we had spoiling our Teachers & Staff for Teacher Appreciation Week! They truly deserve the world, and thanks to our amazing Barka families, we were able to make this week so special. From covering lunch and recess duties, to sending in goodies, to helping us bring our “wish list” of fun ideas to life — your support made it all possible!

We also want to give a HUGE thank you to all of the local businesses who donated food, coffee, beverages, gift cards, raffle items, and so many other goodies to help make our 90’s-themed week a smashing hit!

We were able to keep our teachers and staff fueled with great food all 5 days of the week, supply all our teachers & staff with thoughtful gift bags, and bring I. The fun ALL week long. 💛

And finally, a very special shoutout to our incredible Teacher Appreciation Week Committee — our crew rolling about 8 deep all week long! The amount of planning, coordinating, decorating, organizing, and love that went into this week was truly amazing, and the ex*****on was absolutely flawless!

Thank you to everyone who helped us celebrate the amazing Teachers & staff of Ernest P. Barka Elementary School PTA — we couldn’t have done it without you!

What an incredible week we had during Turn Off the TV Week! Between all the fun spirit days and the after-school events, it was an absolute blast!

We wrapped it all up tonight with Family Board Game Night, and it was so much fun! Everyone got to try out some new games—and even better, we raffled them off so kids could take one home! 🎲💛

A huge thank you to everyone who came out tonight and throughout the week. It meant so much to see so many families unplug, connect, and jump into all the fun.

Now we hope everyone enjoys a long, relaxing, and well-deserved vacation—especially our amazing parents who do so much for their kiddos every single day!

Barka really is the BEST! 💙

🌟 Updates! - Field day will now be on Friday, June 7th due to the weather. Because of this change, school store will now be held on Thursday, June 6th! 🌟

💥Thank you to DeFrancesco Roofing and Trader Joe’s in Bedford for our “bar day!” DeFrancesco made a donation for us to restock classrooms with needed supplies ✏️ and Trader Joe’s donated flowers for teachers to make their own bouquets 💐
