We’re excited to announce a special guest for our upcoming September Self-Tape 301 class: Alan Scott Neal. He’s a New York casting director, casting associate and director who regularly works with Jennifer Venditti on very unique, high end projects for A24 and HBO.
You’ve seen his work on edgy series like “Euphoria” and “The Curse” as well as feature films like “Marty Supreme” and “Bugonia” where he received Artios Award nominations along with Venditti.

We’re excited to have another special guest for our upcoming August Self-Tape 301 class: Katie Lantz. She’s an LA casting director and casting associate who works with some of the top casting offices: Felicia Fasano Casting, Geralyn Flood Casting, and Jenny Jue.
You can see her work on the recently released second season of Netflix’ Avatar: The Last Airbender. She’s also worked on comedies like Amazon’s “A League of Their Own,” FX’s “Better Things,” Netflix’ “Survival of the Thickest” and AMC’s “Kevin Can F**k Himself.”
She’s a five-time Artios Award nominee, a proud Michigan alum, and a gifted teacher. We’ve been wanting to get her to teach our advanced students for a while, and we’re excited her schedule has finally opened up. We can’t wait for our students to learn from her in August.

We’re celebrating our student Megan Elisabeth Kelly who booked a recurring costar role on the Amazon Prime series “Scarpetta.” She plays Amy on the suspense thriller. Megan has been able to build a nice resume by booking on self-tape. We’re thrilled that our classes have helped her improve her tapes.

We’re celebrating Ena O’Rourke’s booking of the UpTV series “Sugarcreek Amish Mysteries.” She plays Catherine Ivey — a woman with a secret. (Cue “Dah-Dah-dahhhhh!”)
Ena has been getting a more opportunities, and we’re thrilled that her self-tape skills now support her drive and talent. We can’t wait to see what’s up next for her.

We are excited to announce another instructor for our August All-Alumni 301 class — the three-time Artios Award nominee Lisa Zambetti.
She is probably best known as the CD for CBS’ “Criminal Minds,” however she’s also cast projects for NBC, 20th Century Fox, ABC Studios, Netflix, FX, and she’s currently casting interactive games for Skydance and books for Audible. Her film “Hicks Happy Hour” won an Emmy and screened at Tribeca and Cannes.
She is also an acting coach who is in the faculty for UCLA, and helps actors book on self-tape. We’re so excited to have her for this exciting class in August.

We’re celebrating Lucinda Marker’s booking a recurring role on Netflix’ hit series “The Boroughs.” She plays Abigail in the series produced by the Duffer Brothers (“Stranger Things.”)
Lucinda has been steadily booking since working with us, most recently costarring on AppleTV’s “Pluribus.” We are so happy her self-tape skills are now matching her top-level talent. Keep up the good work Lucinda.

We have another very special guest for our upcoming August Self-Tape 301 class: director Claire Fowler! She directs film and television including the final season of “Manifest” for Netflix.
On the film side, she is a BAFTA Award Winner whose films have screen at prestigious festivals like Tribeca, London, Palm Springs and Rotterdam. In 2024, she was chosen to be part of the Sundance Directors Labs. She also has a feature film in development with the BBC.
On the TV side, she been a shadow director for Showtime’s “Homeland” and FX’s “Pose.” She has worked on Marvel’s “Jessica Jones,” TBS’ “Search Party,” and pilots for NBC and ABC.
She is a gifted teacher, who loves to tell actors how a director sees their self-tapes and what’s important for her. She will have our advanced actors up-and-working the entire workshop. Don’t miss this exciting class in August.

We’re excited to have a very special guest for our upcoming August Self-Tape 301 class: Josh Ropiequet! He’s the new Manager of Talent and Casting for Universal Television.
He recently put the finishing touches on NBC-Universal’s upcoming season, and now he’ll be working with our advanced actors, giving the insight on what happens after you get “pinned” and your tape “goes to network.”
Before joining the network, he worked more than a decade at the prolific TV/Film casting office of Junie Lowry Johnson and Libby Goldstein. He helped to cast dozens of TV shows and films. This includes prestige series like Showtime’s “Yellowjackets,” AppleTV’s “Truth Be Told,” and Netflix’ “The Umbrella Academy.” He also cast network comedies like CBS’ “So Help Me Todd” and ABC’s “Home Economics.”
He’s also a brilliant teacher, helping actors figure out how casting works. We can’t wait for our advanced students to learn from in August. (And he’s a blast to be around too!)
