On Wednesday, April 6 the Colorado House Education Committee will vote on HB22-1155, which will make important revisions to the ASSET bill to ensure ALL Colorado students are eligible to receive in-state tuition.

Why MSU Denver supports HB22-1155:
-MSU Denver educates the largest number of ASSET students in the state.
-We were proud advocates for the original ASSET legislation in 2013 and this bill will ensure even more Coloradans will be able to access higher education at in-state tuition rates.
-We are deeply committed to supporting all Coloradans, regardless of citizenship status, interested in pursuing postsecondary education.
-As a federally designated Hispanic-Serving Institution, we invest in proven services that support students as they achieve their academic goals and prepare for their careers.
-MSU Denver also believes there is an economic return on investment in higher education. When the state invests in supporting more Coloradans in obtaining credentials, the state gains a more educated workforce and builds a society that is more civically engaged.
