šŸŽ»ā¤ļø There’s nothing quite like experiencing live music for the very first time.

Our concertmaster, Byron, recently played violin for his nephew, Baby M, and his reaction says it all. The wonder, the complete captivation… these are the moments that remind us why music matters.

Watching children connect with live music up close is pure magic. ✨

Want to experience it for yourself? Join Byron, our 30-piece orchestra, opera singer, narrator, and special guest Neyla Pekarek this July for Tiny Tots: Explore the Outdoors - an immersive musical adventure designed especially for young children and families.

šŸŽŗ Instrument Spotlight: Trumpet

Bright, bold, and impossible to miss—the trumpet is one of the most exciting instruments in the orchestra!

Trumpets can sound heroic, celebratory, playful, or powerful, and they’re often featured in fanfares, movie music, jazz, and orchestral favorites. Players create sound by buzzing their lips into the mouthpiece, and changing valves helps create different notes.

Next time you hear a trumpet, listen for its brilliant sound shining above the orchestra! ✨ Can't wait for the next Tiny Tots concert? You can also check out our Spotify Playlist, "The Trumpet" to hear trumpet music now!

šŸŽ¶ Why Sitting Inside the Orchestra Matters

There’s something powerful about experiencing music from the inside.

When children sit surrounded by musicians, they don’t just hear the music—they see bows moving, brass shining, fingers flying, and faces expressing emotion. They feel the vibrations, notice the different sounds coming from every direction, and become part of the musical experience itself.

Being inside the orchestra helps children engage with music through curiosity, movement, imagination, and joy in a way that simply isn’t possible from far away. Those moments of wonder and connection can spark a lifelong love of music. ā¤ļø

A night full of joy, connection, dancing, and truly unmatched energy. One of those events that’s hard to explain unless you experience it yourself.

We were so grateful to partner and be recognized as a sponsor for the party tonight with ā€œMoms Dance Partyā€ and to be part of the fun. Huge thank you to our board member for introducing us to this organization and joining us for the evening. šŸ’›

Music is even more powerful when experienced together.

Today is the International Day of Families, and we’re celebrating the joy of making music-filled memories as a family - singing, dancing, imagining, and exploring together from inside the orchestra.

We can’t wait to welcome more families this summer!
