We are the CherryArts Young Professionals Advisory Board and we believe in access to art experiences & art education. Join our team to give back & meet cool people in the Denver area!

The “Young Professional Advisory Board” program invites young professionals to join for the following purposes and benefits:

• Art and business education / learning
• Community leadership and philanthropy development
• Plan and Manage various events throughout the year
• Marketing and promotion for events
• Access and input to festival experiences and business
• Cultivation of future art buyers
• Reference and volunteer credentials for professional resume
• Opportunities for networking and community philanthropy
• Initial board of directors-type experience
• Festival guide and website recognition
• Festival VIP Club access for advisory board and discount for young professionals at large

More about what we do:
To fulfill our mission of growing art education for kids in schools and young professionals like us, we put on fun events throughout the year including things like interactive art workshops in fun crafting spaces or breweries, an art auction at the Cherry Creek Arts Festival, artist talks, a mobile art cart that teaches people how to screen print, and many more!

Ultimately, Perspective aims to increase access to art experiences and energize art education, by focusing on the cultivation of future art buyers, developing community leadership and philanthropy, and increasing participation in CherryArts events

Advisory Board Expectations:

• Meetings are on the 2nd Monday of each month at 6:30pm at the CherryArts offices.
• Attendance at 75% of the meetings and Perspective functions
• Mandatory attendance at the Cherry Creek Arts Festival (weekend of July 4th)
• Mandatory attendance at the CherryArts Festival at Stanley (September 2019)

BREAKING NEWS: Our first summer YP event has arrived and we could not be more excited! For the first time, CherryArts is offering an intimate opportunity to meet the poster artist and participate in a hands-on pastel workshop led by 🎨

Learn about Cavan’s fascinating path to becoming an artist, as well as, her artistic process and inspirations for creating her artwork. You will also have the chance to create your very own oil pastel landscape with Jennifer’s guidance. 🙌🏻 All materials are included.

Art Camp - Cherry Creek Arts Festival 04/26/2019

On this Friday I bring to you a fun summer art camp for the creative 12 to 17 year olds in your life! 🎨

CherryArts is hosting the first of its’ kind, an Inflatable Art Camp with nationally renowned installation artist, Nicole Anona Banowetz

Selecting 15 Students: Ages 12-17 years old will have the incredible opportunity to join this Colorado-based sculptor for a two-week Art Camp, where Nicole will teach a group of young folks to sew a giant inflatable for the Cherry Creek Arts Festival! 🤗 .
Dates: June 3 – 6 and June 10 -13 (Monday through Thursday, 12pm-4pm)

Quick synopsis of what we do: We believe in art experiences 🎨 and education for everyone, and throughout the year we put on events to get young professionals more involved in the art community. However our main funding and mission is to help kids and schools to get more access to art experiences and channel their inner creativity.

Our events include art workshops in cool places and breweries, artist talks, art buying workshops, the art auction at Cherry Creek Arts Festival, and many more🍻!

The main thing though is getting to meet and network with all the other cool Denver young people that are on the board! Plus we are giving back to a great cause and gaining event planing, management, leadership, and marketing skills along the way (great resume builder) 🙌🏻!
