Meet Henry, he recently started a new role as a Construction Laborer with and is now getting hands-on experience out in the field. Stepping onto a professional job site for the first time is a big moment, and Henry is taking it on with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.

We’re excited to see him grow his skills, gain experience, and continue building his future in the construction industry.

Our students took on the level tower challenge and set a new record of 86 INCHES! It’s always great seeing how each student approaches it differently and figures out their own way to succeed.

Meet Kimberly! She is BuildStrong Academy student who just landed a Project Coordinator role with . From putting in the work during training to stepping into a professional role, this is such an exciting milestone in her journey.

We love seeing students take what they’ve learned and turn it into real career opportunities. Kimberly is just getting started, and we can’t wait to see where this path takes her.

Last week’s career fair brought students and employers together for real conversations, real connections, and real opportunities. It was great to see so many companies take the time to meet our students and learn more about the skills they are building here at BuildStrong.

Events like this are a reminder of how strong partnerships can create direct pathways into the workforce. The last photo shows some of the amazing staff members who put in the work to make these events happen and support our students along the way.

BuildStrong Academy has a new home! We are so thrilled to be co-located on Community College of Aurora's Centretech Campus in the new, FULLY FUNDED CAST facility!!

CCA is grateful to share that the fundraising efforts to build the new Center for Applied Science and Technology has exceeded its goal! Congress appropriated the funding to CAST that brought successful completion of the capital campaign. These funds, plus the support of 44 donors, are helping CCA meet Colorado’s workforce needs with state-of-the art learning spaces and equipment.
