Snow day for Denison Montessori and DPS!

All DPS schools and administrative offices are closed on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, due to severe weather. This includes the Emily Griffith Technical College. All school-related events and activities, including athletic practices and all Discovery Link and ELCS Enrichment programs, are also canceled. Any CHSSA-sanctioned competitions are still scheduled right now. Coaches, please consult with your Athletic Director about your game.

We will continue to monitor the weather and will announce any updates first on the DPS homepage at www.dpsk12.org and district social media channels.

Denison staff members have engaged in a fantastic two day workshop! We are building our collaborative practices and skills in service of improving our student and staff culture through Positive Discipline practices with Montessori author, coach, and consultant Chip DeLorenzo. What a fantastic end to the week!

We hope our Denison families will join us for a parenting workshop on Wednesday, February 11th, called Positive Discipline for Montessori Parents, featuring Montessori author Chip DeLorenzo. This event is scheduled to take place in Denison's Dr. Martha Urioste Library from 6:00pm to 8:15pm. Childcare and Spanish interpretation will be provided.
