Through support from the Benjamin A. Gilman scholarship, 77 Colorado students studied abroad last year!

The Gilman Program provides merit-based scholarships to talented American undergraduates with high financial need to study or intern abroad.

In the 2024 academic year, Colorado hosted 49 International Fulbright Students! 21 Colorado students earned Fulbright awards to study abroad.

International students in Colorado come from India, China, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Canada, and over 160 other countries!

In the 2024-2024 academic year, Colorado hosted 10,547 international students! International students contribute over $409M to the Colorado economy annually.

To celebrate International Education Week (November 17-21), StudyColorado is hosting a photo/video contest. We encourage international students to submit a picture or short video (30 seconds or less) of themselves at a favorite spot on campus, in Colorado, or in Wyoming.

To Enter:
1. Please email your photo or video to: [email protected] by November 12, 2025.
2. Please include your first name, institution, field of study and home country with the photo or video.
Students studying in Colorado and Wyoming are eligible to enter!
