I am considering putting together 2 kinds of classes for the kids this summer.

I am gauging interest to help me decided if it’s something that parents want.

CLASS 1: LIVE VIRTUAL EXPERIENCE of Brainiacs Learning Lab LEGO WRITING (K-2/3rd-6th).
In 2013, I invented a method to teach kids to become better readers and writers using LEGO. Helping kids go from Reluctant Writers to POWERFUL STORYTELLERS.

In this class, kids create stories, use writing frameworks that make sense to kids and guide them through writing process, and then they create stop motion “movies” from what they write.

In addition to becoming a Better Readers and Writers this kids increase their:
•Oral language development
•Verbal and written communication
•Confidence as a reader/writer.

Kids can go through the program multiple times and never do the same thing twice.

CLASS 2: VIRTUAL COLLEGE ESSAY BOOTCAMP: How to Write a Winning Personal Statement
Students will learn how to write the 650-word main essay of the Common Application that nearly every college and university requires. I will provide step-by step guidance from brainstorming their essay topic to fine tuning the final draft.
