The real purpose was to beat the drum for a war against China.

Jose Vega was there, to ridicule the lies and sophistries uttered by Matt Potter and his cronies. Their intention was to paint Xi Jinping as an evil dictator and warmonger, but Jose pointed out that the US is involved in a two-front war, with China being targeted as number three. China, Jose said, wants to work with us! Let’s do that! He was dragged out and in danger of being choked.
